AirControl β Mobile App for Air Quality Tracking
AirControl is a mobile application designed to monitor air quality in urban environments, leveraging real-time data and Earth observation insights. The app was developed during the Urban Life Hackathon 2018 in Cluj-Napoca and won 3rd place, with support from the European Space Agency (ESA).

Built as a response to growing concerns about climate change and urban air pollution, the app uses ESA satellite data to track environmental factors and visualize air quality levels in an intuitive, user-friendly interface.
My contribution included:
π Designing the full UX/UI of the app under time constraints
π Creating data-driven visualizations for air quality indicators
π Ensuring the experience was clean, mobile-first, and easy to interpret for general audiencesβββββββ

AirControl was built as a prototype to demonstrate how space-based data can contribute to everyday decisions and improve urban life quality through awareness and transparency.
